23rd ANNUAL FRAGRANCE FOUNDATION AWARDS 2015

Congratulations to the winners of The Fragrance Foundation Awards 2015! 

 

“A brilliant evening”, “Fantastic to see the fragrance industry celebrated so well” and “Some incredible winners at the best Awards so far!”, were just a few of the comments received from The Fragrance Foundation UK Awards Gala Dinner.
 
Known as the ‘Oscars’ of the fragrance industry, the 23rd annual Fragrance Foundation  Awards 2015 took place at one of London’s most popular venues – The Brewery on Chiswell Street.
 
The glitzy and glamorous event was attended by over 500 industry guests including a host of celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Richard E. Grant, Baroness Brady & Nick Ede.
 
The evening started with a Champagne Reception held in the King George III room with entertainment from Tom Barnes Music, where guests mingled before being ushered to the Porter Tun room for a sumptuous Dinner.
 
TV news presenter Natasha Kaplinsky compèred the evening’s ceremony for the third year, held in support of the industry’s charity Look Good Feel Better, and guests were entertained by the fabulous Rebecca Ferguson, who performed for us all to enjoy.
 
The welcoming presentation was given by The Fragrance Foundation UK’s Chairman, Annalise Fard, who commented on what a great year The Fragrance Foundation have had. Linda Key, The Fragrance Foundation’s CEO, gave an update on the achievements of The Fragrance Foundation and its aims for the future. 

The Fragrance Foundation presented Lucia van der Post with The Circle of Champions Award - The Circle of Champions is a special initiative set up by The Fragrance Foundation to pay tribute to those individuals who have made a notable and newsworthy contribution to the fragrance industry. Lucia is the Grande Dame of Luxury, Associate Editor of How To Spend It turned the How To Spend
It pages of the Financial Times into cult Saturday reading and then oversaw its migration to glossy stock in 1994 as Founding Editor of the magazine. Her many awards include the Luxury Briefing Award for Excellence, the Walpole Medal of Excellence and several Jasmine Awards for perfume features in How To Spend It.

There were 18 award categories and the evening culminated with the announcement that Black Opium by Yves Saint Laurent had been chosen as Best New Fragrance for Women and Jimmy Choo Man had won the Best New Male Fragrance category.

All the proceeds raised from the glitzy evening’s auction and raffle prizes, generously donated by supporters of The Fragrance Foundation, will go to Look Good Feel Better, the beauty industry’s charity.

 

The late revelers’ VIP ‘After-Show’ party where DJ Sophie Lloyd kept everyone dancing until the early hours.
